The moulding department has an automatic compression system with rammers for flasks measuring 600x700x200+200 mm capable of manufacturing 180 flasks per hour.  The rammer system allows a homogeneous moulding of the flasks on all surfaces, including the vertical ones assuring therefore a very accurate impression. The moulding sand is checked by an automatic system (HARTLEY) which establishes the parameters and the features of the sand and, if necessary, automatically carries out the adjustments.
